A Practitioner's Approach to Educational Strategy
MMEC is a boutique consulting practice grounded in classroom reality and built around one principle: every digital investment should produce a measurable student result.

A Note from the Founder
"I believe that technology in a classroom is only as powerful as the data that drives it and the strategy behind its use."
I started Metric Mindset Educational Consulting because I kept seeing the same pattern across districts: thoughtful leaders, talented teachers, and growing edtech budgets, but little clarity on whether any of it was actually moving student outcomes.
My background sits at the intersection of instructional leadership, data analysis, and technology strategy. That combination shapes how I work with schools. I do not arrive with a packaged framework. I arrive with questions, look at what the numbers are telling us, and build a plan that fits the building you actually lead.
My goal in every engagement is the same: to leave the district with stronger data literacy, a tighter technology stack, and a team that feels supported, not pressured, to succeed.
Three Beliefs That Guide Every Engagement
Data without strategy is noise.
Dashboards alone do not change instruction. The real question is what the data tells us to do differently on Monday morning.
Technology without training is waste.
The most expensive tool in any district is the one teachers were never coached to use well. Adoption is the product, not the purchase.
Every digital investment must yield a student result.
If we cannot trace a tool back to a learning outcome, we should be honest about whether it earns its place in the budget.
Built from Classroom, District, and Data Experience
Classroom Foundation
Direct teaching experience that anchors every recommendation in what is realistic for a working educator. I have lived the gap between policy on paper and practice in a classroom of thirty students.
District Leadership
Experience inside school and district leadership structures, including instructional planning, technology rollouts, and data team facilitation. I know what it means to defend a budget, manage a vendor, and roll out change to staff.
Data and Technology Strategy
Hands-on work with student data systems, learning platforms, and edtech evaluation across multiple grade bands and demographics. I read dashboards the way other consultants read pitch decks.
Speaking, Writing, and Thought Leadership
Beyond direct consulting, I write and speak regularly on data-driven instruction, effective edtech integration, and the realities of leading change inside K-12 systems. Recent and upcoming engagements are listed below. To inquire about a keynote, workshop, or panel, use the contact form.

Let's Talk About Your District
Every engagement starts with a conversation. No pitch, no slide deck. Just a real discussion about where your data and technology strategy stand today, and what would make the biggest difference for your students.
